About AroofNigeria
Built in Lagos, for the people who make the music.
AroofNigeria exists because a play on the radio or in a full room should reach the songwriter, the producer and the performer it belongs to. We built the monitoring, the paperwork and the payments into one platform so that journey is no longer guesswork.

The gap we set out to close
Nigerian music travels further and faster than ever, but the record of where it plays is fragmented. A club in Lekki, a restaurant in Abuja and a station in Port Harcourt all use the same songs, and each reports usage differently, if at all.
Rights holders are left reconciling spreadsheets and memories. Venues are left unsure what they owe. We replace both with one shared record: plays detected, works registered, splits confirmed, invoices issued, payouts settled.
The result is a royalty statement that can be defended line by line, whether the question comes from a co-writer, a venue or an auditor.
One pipeline, three stages
Detect
Hardware units in venues and continuous radio sampling build a record of what actually aired.
Attribute
Plays are matched to registered works and confirmed split sheets, so credit follows the song.
Settle
Venues are invoiced for their usage and rights holders are paid their share in naira.
What we hold to
Evidence over estimates
Every naira in a statement traces back to a timestamped play at a named venue or station.
Fairness between collaborators
Splits are agreed and confirmed before money moves, not argued about afterwards.
Built for the local market
Naira billing, Nigerian banks, and stations across the country's broadcast landscape.
